San Francisco General Intelligence Laboratory
To create a world in which every capable person has the means to imagine, begin, and grow a venture of their own — moving forward unobstructed by anything but ambition itself.
The Laboratory is building toward a future. A future where the barrier to entrepreneurship falls so completely that any capable person can create with nothing but the gift of human imagination.
We build toward this future at the intersection of frontier economics and artificial intelligence. We are remaking the infrastructure of commerce between people, driving the barriers to entry lower than the world has ever known, so a venture can rise from a single idea to full scale.
We recognize that the jobs which have sustained economic activity for nearly a century will be reshaped by AI and automation, and that many will be eliminated. We do not deny this. But the same tools that displace operational work will also expand what a single person can build. As the barrier to entry falls to a level never seen before, the future that removes operational roles will open a far wider field of entrepreneurial ones.
This is the mission of the Laboratory: to create a world in which every capable person has the means to imagine, begin, and grow a venture of their own, moving forward unobstructed by anything but ambition itself.
The Laboratory is organized into two programs. GIL is the intelligent system behind every action, trained on the foundations of economics, law, hospitality, and commerce. PartnerX is the human interface through which operators oversee their businesses and consumers engage with what those businesses create.
We see a future in which a person wakes, decides to imagine, and the Laboratory provides the path forward to own and govern a venture of their own — free to pursue that imagination, unobstructed.
